<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN><SPAN>This Feature Class was created in 2014 as part of a Connecticut Office of Policy and Management grant to the Central Connecticut Regional Planning Association. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The original parcel layer creation was started in 2008 by CDM Smith , Inc. of Cambridge, MA. The primary method used to create the parcels was digitizing Bristol’s assessor tax maps as well as the use of CAD drawing (Macguire Maps) as supplemental data. The town of Bristol contracted AT&T to conduct a fly-over in 2009. The orthophotos produced were used by CDM to refine the parcel lines using obvious indications of property lines such as fences and hedgerows. Bristol conducted another fly-over in 2010 using WSP Sells which aided in the creation of Bristol’s building footprints and sidewalks. Bristol was given the parcel data layer in 2010. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
