This dataset is a polygon representation of the parcels for the City of Quincy, Massachusetts. Edits to a base parcel file were made to the spatial and tabular data in order to bring the file in compliance with November 2010 MassGIS Level III Standards for Digital Parcel Files. These edits included ensuring that the parcel fabric was continuous and closed with no gaps or overlaps. Additionally, parcels were snapped to the legislatively approved MassGIS TOWNSSURVEY_ARC town boundary datalayer and compared against the 2008 30 cm MassGIS Ortho Imagery. Polygons were assigned a LOC_ID that links to the M243Assessor table and other fields were populated where they were known and applicable. |
